Toni graduated from Ragsdale Senior High School in 1969 and went on to build a distinguished career in the finance industry that spanned more than 40 years. Known for her work ethic, leadership, and integrity, she retired as Branch Manager of OneMain Financial after decades of dedicated service.
Toni lived life with energy and independence. She loved traveling and remained committed to her health, faithfully exercising at Gold’s Gym and the YMCA nearly every day of the week. Her discipline and determination were part of who she was.
After suffering a stroke last year, Toni never missed a beat. Her perseverance and resilience were undeniable, and she continued to face life with strength and determination.
She never met a stranger, and you never quite knew what she was going to say next. Most described her as kind, funny, and the life of the party. She loved good food, good music, dancing, baking, cooking, and sewing. Always fashionable and put together, Toni took pride in how she presented herself. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and showed up for others with generosity and heart.
Toni is survived by her sisters, Jean Norton and Linda Murray; her nephew, Quintin Newkirk (Regina); and her nieces, Valerie Murray (Bryon), Breanna Crosby, and Bonnie Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Madden; her mother, Bonnie Honeycutt Norton; her father, William Edward Norton; and a sister, Brenda Newkirk.
Toni lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of strength, laughter, generosity, and deep love for her family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
