A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2nd at Guilford Memorial Park with Pastor Joe Chandler officiating of the Philadelphia Baptist Church.
This will be a true Graveside service. Look for the balloons. May 2nd would have been our Mom’s 95th birthday, so instead of flowers, bring helium filled balloons to be released at the graveside. Mom would have liked that.
She was the wife of one man, Chatman Walker who preceded her in death. She was the mother to six children; Mary Ann, Tamera Lee, Teddie Sue, Myra, Vickie and husband Dale and Tod and wife Mell. Grandmother to ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Our mom spent her life serving her family, her friends, and Her Lord Jesus Christ. She will be truly missed.
Our family would like to give thanks to all the wonderful staff at the Carriage House of Greensboro Memory Care unit for taking such good care of our Mom this last year of her life. May God bless you for how you serve others.
