Virginia B. Howell

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 W. Gate City Blvd., in Greensboro, with Pastor Michael Poindexter officiating. Virginia will be laid to rest in Highland Burial Park Cemetery, 3049 N. Main St., Danville, VA 24540. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.

Born in Rockingham County on October 1, 1938 to the late Julius and Lelia Boles, Virginia was of the Baptist faith. Virginia enjoyed the simple things in life. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to the parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Moss Howell; a daughter, Sabrina Murray; and a son, Samuel Bradner.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Pete Howell (Jeanie) of Randleman; her twin brothers, James Boles (Carol) of Ft. Myers, Florida and Julius Boles (Sara) of Providence, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, David Murray, Penny Dalton, Cody Seay, Courtnie Shrewsbury, Robbie Howell, Nathan Howell, and Elizabeth Howell; several great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
