Wayne Everette Jessup

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel with Rev. Rex Pollard officiating. The interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors, from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel.

Wayne Everette Jessup was born in Greensboro, NC on May 4, 1959 to the late Everette (Jack) and Bertha Cox Jessup. He graduated from McIver School and attended GTCC. He had formerly worked for the Industrial Services of Guilford County. He participated in the Special Olympics, (winning Gold for the discus throw); bowling team, and the Glee Club. Wayne was a good and happy person and was loved by everyone. He will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Wayne is survived by four sisters, Carol Williams of Colfax, Jackie Morris of Randleman, Linda Allred of Liberty and Jerri Sue Lubke of Belews Creek; and many nieces and nephews.
