William Christopher "Chris" Edmonds

Chris was born on November 5, 1955, in Towanda, PA, the son of Gerald W. and Doris A. Edmonds. He graduated from Western Carolina University. He owned and operated William Christopher Interiors, in Burlington, Greensboro, and Southport for over 25 years. He was a member of “ASID.” Chris loved to travel. He loved the water and was an avid physical fitness participant. Chris just enjoyed life and having a good time. He will be deeply missed by all.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Gerald W. Edmonds. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Doris A. Edmonds of High Point, NC; sister, Patricia L. Edmonds of Greensboro, NC and his partner of 18 years, Fred Lyman of Greensboro, NC; nieces, Kimberly Khanolkar of CA and Tracy Bogda of GA; three great nephews and two great nieces and his special “four legged Poodle friend”, Jacques.

A Celebration of Chris’s life will be held on Friday, 11:00 a.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the Ladies of St. John U.S. Virgin Islands for making their many vacations on the Island so special.
