Alene Bloom Richey

Alene Bloom Richey, 100 years 11 months, of Greensburg passed away on December 3, 2018. She was born on January 3, 1918, in Milan, Indiana the daughter of John and Mary Bloom. Alene was a 1936 graduate of Milan High School. She was a district manager for Avon. She was a member of the St. John’s Catholic Church of Osgood and also attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Greensburg. Survivors include: Sons- Randy Richey and Robin (Wife Laura) Richey; 7 Grandchildren; and 9 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mother- Mary Green; Father- John Bloom; Brother- John Louis Bloom; Daughter- Connie Hils; and her stillborn infant daughter. A private family service will take place at Gilliland Howe Funeral Home. Father John Meyer will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greendale Cemetery.
