Brenda K. Yarbor, 57 of Westport, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center Hospice in Seymour. Brenda was born on May 11, 1961, in Greensburg, the daughter of Denver and Marjorie (Caster) Washburn. She was a 1979 graduate of Greensburg High School. On December 29, 1982, she married Wesley Yarbor in Seymour and he survives.
Other survivors include their children - Cole Yarbor of Columbus, Jesse Yarbor of Westport and Jamie Yarbor of Westport; Brothers - Omer Washburn, Floyd Washburn and John Washburn; and Sisters - Rose Arena, Alberta Robbins, Marylin Moore and Karen Washburn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sisters - Willetta Tichenor, Jennie Bertrand and Ellen (Snooky) Schoettmer; and Brother - David Washburn.
Brenda worked at Houck Industries in Greensburg and in housekeeping at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, traveling and boating.
Private services will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.gilliland-howe.com.
