Fred A. Moore

Fred A. Moore, 68, of Greensburg passed away on May 6, 2013. He was born on January 20, 1945, in Danville, Illinois, the son of Fred and Mary (Shepard) Moore. Fred was a 1963 Graduate of Greensburg High School and went on to serve his country in the Army, during the Vietnam War. In March of 1967, he married Ok Yi Cho. He worked at Decatur County REMC, Delta Faucet, and retired from Duke Energy in 2007. Survivors include: Wife- Ok Yi Moore, Daughter- Jane (Matthew) Border, Sons- Fred (Kathleen) Moore and Richard (Barb) Moore, Sister- Karen (Bill) Fenley, Grandchildren- Kyle, Michael, and Katelyn Moore, and 5 Step Grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by: his Parents and Brother- John Moore. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Wolford will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Aerie Cemetery in Letts. Memorial Contributions can be made to the First Christian Church and Our Hospice.
