Geraldine M. Artmeier Moore-Brown

Geraldine Moore Brown, 84, of Greensburg passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Arbor Grove Village. She was born on July 16, 1932 in Franklin County, Indiana the daughter of Louis F. and Mary L. Granger Artmeier. Geraldine previously worked at the Decatur County Daycare Center, the Decatur County Auditor Office and the Decatur County Assessor Office. She was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Greensburg, Eagles, and the Senior Citizens. Geraldine married John Moore and together they had three children and then she later married Robert C. Brown.

Survivors include: Children- Joy (Gregg) Miers of Florida, Zon (Teresa) Moore of Greensburg, Jan (Dean) Smith of Greensburg, and Max (Kathy) Dalmbert of Greenwood; Sisters- Gwyndlene Mathews of Greensburg and Mary (John) Vail of Clarksburg; Brothers- Richard (June) Artmeier of South Carolina and David (Connie) Artmeier of Rushville; 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren; and Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband- Robert C. Brown; Sisters- Martha Wilhoit and Rosemond Moore; Brothers- Charles Artmeier, Don Artmeier, and Roscoe Artmeier.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 7 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 8 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Danny Wolford officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
