

Jack F. Fletcher 85 of Greensburg, IN. passed away Friday August 10. 2012, at his home. Jack was born May 26, 1927 in Evansville, IN., the son of John W. and Talva Lavana (Painter) Fletcher. He was a 1945 Graduate of Bosse High School in Evansville, after High School he joined the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. He also was a graduate of the Indiana School of Mortuary Science in Indianapolis. He was the Owner/Operator of the NAPA store which opened in 1964 until 1976. He was a licensed Funeral Director for over 60 years. He was a member of Clarksburg Christian Church, Masonic Lodge #36 Greensburg, and Scottish Rite Indianapolis Valley. He married his first wife. Betty (Ruscher) Fletcher on August 28, 1948 in Lawrenceburg, IN., and she preceded him in death May 5, 1986. He then married Helen (Buell) Fletcher January 23, 1988 and she survives at the home.
Other survivors include: 1 Daughter. Mrs. David (Jayne Ann) Schlemmer, 2 Sons: John F. (Beth Ann) Fletcher of Noblesville, IN. and James A. (Nancy) Fletcher of Greensburg, IN., 1 Step Daughter Leslie Emerson, 2 Step Sons: Greg and Patrick Newman. 5 Grandchildren, 8 Step Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Betty, and 1 Brother: J. Lawrence Fletcher.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday August 14, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Community Church of Greensburg, with the Reverend Jerran Jackson officiating.
