I will always remember sitting on the porch every summer evening with you and grandma.  We all read the paper or caught lightning bugs or played basketball.  I will always appreciate how you made time for me and encouraged me. Also words cannot describe how grateful I was for your support concerning my parents.  You never judged nor pushed and always accepted my awkwardness on the subject.  You are forever loved.

Prayers to you Pam, Andy and the rest of the family.  Your dad was a very special man and I thank you for the opportunity to be invited into the family during the holidays. He will be missed dearly by family, friends and anyone who ever met him.

Pam, I'm so sorry about the loss of your dad. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Jim loved his grandchildren. Once they started coming he couldn't wait to decorate for Christmas. I remember one year he had just not felt well and Terry and I tried to convince him to just hang out a couple lights, but he wasn't having it. The kids loved it and he was going to decorate. Once that man set his mind to something there was no going back, no retreat.

I will always remember you making sure us grandkids believed in Santa for what felt like forever every Christmas by having "him" come to the house for us all! And the reunion cookouts we used to have in the summer, the overnights every school break & summer with the other cousins at you and grandmas, the life saver mints you magically never ran out of; and so many other things. Most of all, I remember that you always told me to "Look forward and not back. Be and do your best, always." Im thankful for all of those memories and words you gave me. Thank you Grandpa. I love you

Simply put. You were always my hero. Even to your last days. I will forever look up to you and walk in your shadow. Love you DAD.

I remember the first time I met Jim and Mary Jane.  They came to our home in Lawton, Oklahoma.  Andrew and Jennifer were living with us and Andrew had appendicitis.  Of course, Andrew wanted his momma.  So Jim and Mary Jane came to Oklahoma.  We were sitting by the pool, sitting on the deck which Andrew built.  Fort Sill Artillery let one go and Jim jumped in the air and said "what was that."  We were so use to the artillery that we didn't even notice.  It is a great memory or the man he was.  Brought his wife to Oklahoma so that she could care for her son.  You will be missed by the grandchildren that we shared.  They have wonderful memories of their Grandpa.  RIP Jim

You were so much more then just my Father-in-law. I am going to miss you. I hope everything that we did for you was the right thing. I hope you meant it when you said we spoiled you. I enjoyed bringing your favorite things. From your cranberry juice frozen because you wanted it super cold to the Kentucky Explorer magazine.  I will miss you. I am so glad my kids knew you. We all love you so much.
