Lucy B. Martin

Lucy B. Martin, 85 of Greensburg passed away on June 21, 2016. She was born on August 7, 1930 the daughter of Les and Nellie Williams. Lucy was a 1949 graduate of Clarksburg High School. She worked for over 30 years at Federal Mogul BCA before she retired. She married Harry Martin on July 30, 1949 in Carrollton, Kentucky and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2005. Lucy attended the Faith Baptist Church of Greensburg.

Survivors include: Daughters- Karen Lawrence, Diana Back, and Judy (Mack) Arnett; Grandchildren- Kevin Manuel, Monique O’Mara, Steven Back, Jason Back, Paige Lawrence, Eric Back, David Lawrence, Keegan Roberts; Brother- John (Evelyn) Barnes; and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Sisters- Wanda Anderson, Jane Corley, and Sylvia Jackson; Brothers- Sheldon Morford and James Morford.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 pm. Rev. Glenn Seaman will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Our Hospice of Decatur County.
