Mary Ann Ramer, 82, of Millhousen, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Mary Ann was born on October 24, 1932 in Millhousen, the daughter of George and Marie (Cord) Schneider. She was a 1950 graduate of Napoleon High School. On January 3, 1981 she married Melvin Ramer at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen and he survives.
Mary Ann worked as a secretary at Wickens Law Office for 30 years until her retirement. She loved animals and collecting things especially books.
She is survived by her husband and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers Don, Jim, Lawrence, and Arthur Schneider.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 10AM until the start of Mary Ann’s Funeral Service at 11AM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.gilliland-howe.com.
