Michael Paul Gindling

Michael Paul Gindling, of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was born on May 21, 1950, in Batesville, Indiana, the son of Michael and Rosina Tekulve Gindling. Mike was a 1968 graduate of Batesville High School. He served in the United States Navy. On October 7, 1972 he married Charla Gibson. Together they had one daughter, Michelle. Mike and Charla purchased Dairy Point in 1972 and have operated it for 46 years. He enjoyed golfing, watching his grandson play soccer, classic cars, and winter trips with his family. Mike is survived by: his wife, Charla Gindling; daughter, Michelle (Steve Herbert) Gindling; grandson, Nicholas Zapfe; siblings, Judy Owens, Dan (Delores) Gindling, and Carm (Tom) Meyer. Mike was preceded in death by: his father, Michael John Gindling; mother, Rosina Gindling; sisters, Mary Lou Dwenger and Joy Prickle. A reception and visitation for friends and family will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gilliland- Howe Funeral Home.
