Michael T. Lonneman, 70 of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at his home. Mike was born on July 23, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Harry and Alice (McCoy) Lonneman. He married Connie McKell on June 26, 1993 in Greensburg and she survives. Other survivors include three daughters – Mychelle (Dave) Baechle of Lawrenceburg, Candi (Scott) Wesseler of Greensburg and Amy (Tim) Stier of Greensburg; three sons – Tony (Shannon) Lonneman of Sunman, Ryan (Mandi) Walterman of Greensburg and Chad (Andrea) Walterman of Greensburg; two sisters – Janet Johnson and Gail Morrissey; two brothers – Rick (Mary Alyce) Lonneman and Pat (Judy) Lonneman; 17 grandchildren – Michael Baechle, Nathan Baechle, Trevor Lonneman, Luke Lonneman, Shane Lonneman, Melissa Lonneman, Kerigan Wesseler, Haley Wesseler, Paige Wesseler, Layne Wesseler, Kelsey Walterman, Lexie Walterman, Eli Walterman, Kennedy Stier, Mia Stier, Sydney Walterman, Hannah Walterman and 2 great grandsons - Madden Baechle and Major Baechle. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters – Nancy Clark and Lois Frey; two brothers Irish and James Lonneman and one great grandson Miller Baechle. Mike worked for nearly 30 years at Hill-Rom as a machinist and a welder. Most recently he worked at Heritage Industrial Company in Greensburg. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mike was an avid golfer and also enjoyed betting on horses at the track. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. A Rosary Service will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 12:30PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will follow from 1PM – 5PM also at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11AM on Monday, January 7, 2018 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. John Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
