Mildred J. Nobbe

Mildred J. Nobbe, 84, of Greensburg, passed away on March 2, 2018. She was born on February 22, 1934 in Millhousen, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Wilmer) Meyer. Mildred was a 1952 graduate of Burney High School. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and also served on the Funeral Meal Committee. Mildred married Richard H. Nobbe on October 5, 1957 and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1995. Mildred worked at Broadway Florist as a floral designer for many years. Mildred was a Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and Friend.

Survivors include: Children- Richard (Kay) Nobbe, Marilyn (Randy) Hoeing, Steve (Teresa) Nobbe, Robert (Pam) Nobbe, and Brian (Jennifer) Nobbe; Sister- Velma Meyer; Grandchildren- Kyle (Amanda) Nobbe, Staci (Ben) Schutte, Aaron Hoeing, Stephanie Hoeing, Emily (Austin) Hauser, Elizabeth (Nick Martin) Nobbe, Cole Nobbe, Josie Nobbe, Travis Nobbe, Alaina Nobbe, and Jenna Nobbe; and 10 Great Grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Sister- Helen Meyer; Brothers- Ernest Meyer and Paul Meyer.

Family and friends will gather at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home to pray the rosary. Visitation will follow until 8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church for the Funeral Meal Committee.
