Nathan Gilbert 53 of Greensburg, IN. passed away Wednesday November 16, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born November 27, 1957 in Greensburg, IN. the son of Jarvis Gilbert and Cleo (Smith) Stephens. He worked at American Lift for 31 years.
He is survived by his Mother: Cleo Stephens of Columbus, IN. One Sister: Cheryl (her husband Larry) Anderson of Bristol, TN.; two half sisters: Eva Hermann and Stella Romano both of Greensburg, IN.; six brothers: Alvin (his wife Debbie) Gilbert, Sylvester Gilbert both of Greensburg, IN., Lee, Ronald (his wife Sarah), and Malcom Gilbert of Indianapolis, IN., and Melvin Gilbert of Columbus, IN., Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins survive. He was preceded in death by his Father Jarvis, four brothers: R.J., Carl, Bernard, and Keith Gilbert; and three Sisters: Virginia Bowman, Norma Redleaf and Catherine Smith.
Friends may call at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Saturday November 19, 2011 from 11:00am until the time of service 1:00pm. Burial will follow in the South Park
