
Pearl L. Harrison, 92 of Greensburg, IN. passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Greensburg, IN. She was born July 11, 1920 in Milroy, IN. the daughter of George and Goldie (Cox) Harrison. She graduated from Milroy High School in 1938 and attended Business School for one year. She was a Computer Analyst for Meridian Insurance Company before retiring in 1985. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN. where she served as Deaconess and was a Stephen Minister, She was a Volunteer at Conner Prairie where her favorite activity was the Sewing Guild, creating costumes worn in 1836. Pearl’s favorite hobby was traveling. She enjoyed traveling through all 50 States, and took many tours overseas where she visited Western Europe, Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Scandinavia, the Holy Land, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, China, Soviet Union, and Greece.
She is survived by 10 Nieces and Nephews and many Great Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one Brother: Paul E. Harrison; three Sisters: Mrs. Opal Boicourt, Mrs. Martha Rodebeck, and Thelma Lucille Harrison.
There will be Graveside Services at the Richland Cemetery in Rush County, on Saturday November 10, 2012 at 10:00AM. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church, 8600 North College Ave., Indianapolis, IN. 46240.
