Russell Albert Fussner

Russell A. Fussner, 97, of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at the Morning Breeze Nursing Home in Greensburg. Russell was born on December 14, 1918 in Franklin County the son of Albert and Edna (Mahle) Fussner. On May 31, 1941, Russell married Dorothy Harrell and she preceded him in death on October 7, 2012.

Russell worked as a farmer for all of his working life; he retired from farming in 1981. He was a member of the Kingston Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his two daughters – Sharon Moulder of Greenwood and Sandra Fussner of Greensburg, one brother Francis Fussner of Rushville, two granddaughters – Dawn (Billy Anderson) Layton and Kristen (Keith) Willoughby all of Greenwood and one great granddaughter Siera Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his sisters – Ruth Copple and Betty Stephenson and one brother –Jim Fussner.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 23 from 11AM until the start of the funeral service 1PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Burford officiating. Burial will follow at the Kingston Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingston Presbyterian Church or to the American Heart Association.
