Sandra Kay Meyer

Sandra Kay Meyer, 69, of Greensburg formerly of Newport, Kentucky, passed away on June 9, 2024. She was born on November 26, 1954 the daughter of Orville and Marjorie (Collins) Meyer. Sandy was a high school graduate of Our Lady of Providence Academy. She worked at New Perceptions in Edgewood, KY for 25 years. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, Newport.

Sandy loved her family and traveling and took many memorable trips with them to Daytona Beach, FL. She also enjoyed bowling, dancing, singing, shopping and watching cartoons with her nieces and nephews.

After her parents passed, Sandy was a resident of The Point in Covington, KY, where she was very much loved. She was able to travel with her Point family and especially enjoyed Gatlinburg.

She was currently a resident at Hickory Creek and made the same lasting impression there as well. Her Hickory Creek family adored her and made Sandy very happy. She looked forward to her visits from her brother Bob, brother-in-law Chuck and niece Telisa. She kept everyone on their toes and no one would have wanted it any other way.

Sandy will be remembered for her feisty but loving personality, her infectious laugh and her impromptu songs and dances. She was a bright light and will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kenneth Meyer, David Meyer, Michael Meyer and her sister Melissa Gander. She is survived by her brother Robert Meyer and many loving nieces and nephews.
