Stephen Bruce Redd, age 68, of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Steve was born May 18, 1950 to Carlos and Lela Goodpaster Redd. Steve married Myrtle Ann Powell on July 3, 1970. He was a United States Navy Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He worked as a tool and dye maker for Bohn Aluminum and KS Bearings. Steve is survived by his wife, Myrtle Ann Redd; sons, Greg (Lynn) Redd, Jason (Angie) Redd, Scott Redd, and Nathan (Carrie) Redd; siblings, Jenny Higdon, Jeff Redd, Susie Redd, and Frieda Redd; and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Redd; mother, Lela Redd; siblings, Keith Redd, Betty Pogue, Doris Jeffries, Andy Redd, John Redd, Malcolm Redd, and Allen Redd. A time of visiting for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of the Celebration of his Life at 12:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, 209 W. Washington Street, Greensburg, Indiana 47240. Dr. Robb Barlow will be officiating. Inurnment will be held at South Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family and they will decide at a later date what they will do to honor his memory.
