Trevor A. Foster, 72, of Greensburg passed away on June 11, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born on December 26, 1945, in Greensburg, the son of Gerald and Dorothy (Hood) Foster. Trevor was a 1964 graduate of Greensburg High School. He married Joyce Campbell on August 30, 1969; together they raised two children, Kevin and Amy. As a youth he was baptized into the First Baptist Church in Greensburg.
Trevor had worked as a police officer, for the Railroad, and also had his own private detective business. Before his lengthy cancer battle, he enjoyed golfing, traveling for work and vacationing with family. He loved spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren in all of their activities.
Survivors include: Wife- Joyce Foster; Son- Kevin (Crystal) Foster; Daughter- Amy (Mark) Bower; Grandchildren- Drew Foster, Trevor Foster, Jenna Foster, Ashley Bower, and Sam Bower; Sisters- Jennifer Foster and Deborah (Richard) Staser; Brother- Stephen Foster; and sister-in-law Sandra Foster. Trevor was preceded in death by his Parents and Brothers- Charles Foster and infant brother Ronald Foster.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 4PM to 8PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11AM on Friday, June 15, 2018 also at the funeral home with Mike Haviland officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
