Barbara Bea Carroll

Barbara Bea (Rogers) Carroll was born September, 1940 in Lima, Ohio to H. Robert Rogers and Betty (Davis) Rogers. Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Carlton Rogers and her granddaughter, Alexandra Soder.

Survivors include her her husband Clarence “John” Carroll, Greenville, Ohio, her daughters Amy Stamm Smith of Lebanon Missouri, Bethanne Stamm Spires, Sidney, Ohio and Jennifer Stamm Rhoads, St. Marys, Ohio, Tod Carroll, Tim Carroll and Jane Carroll of Greenville, Ohio. There are 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren due in the Spring.

Barbara was a 1958 graduate of Sidney High School in Sidney, Ohio. She took courses with a branch of OSU, and was a member of Delta Theta Tau.

Barbara was employed at Ruese Insurance Agency in Sidney from 1967- 1994.

Barbara loved to play bridge, travel with John, go antiquing and spend time with family and friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
