Barry G Grile

Barry Gene Grile, 68 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday December 29, 2025, at 4:46 PM at his residence. Barry was born October 11, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Gene Forest Grile and Mary Christine Grile-Pipenger.

Barry worked as a plumber and electrician at Botkins Electrical and Plumbing; he enjoyed going to the pond, fishing, building models, working on cars doing puzzles and hanging out with the neighbors.

Barry is preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; and aunts and uncles.

Barry is survived by his son and daughter in law, Christopher Grile and fiancé Jessica Zumberger; his daughter Markie Addis and her boyfriend Josh Ritter; his grandchildren, Jacob, River, Braden, and Keagen; his siblings and spouses, Bambi and Keith Maurer, Michelle and Bill Sewell, Todd Grile, Matt and Amy Grile, and Stacy and Kathy Grile; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Barry will be held on Monday January 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will be held in Greenmound Cemetery, New Madison, Ohio at a later date. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
