

Ineke was born December 15, 1957, in Arnhem, Netherlands, to the late Roelof & Maria (van der Weerd) Oostra.
Ineke is survived by her husband of 22 years, Larry R. Henderson whom she married May 12, 2001, daughters & son-in-law, Nancy & Alex Percy of Dayton and Nita Green of Union City, Ohio; grandchildren, Tavin Green and Maeva Bajaj; siblings, Maria & Phil McDonald of Rocky River, Ohio, Hielke Oostra & Miguel Rodriguez of Sarasota, Florida, Roelof & Pamela Oostra Jr. of Union City, Ohio, and Bernardus & Twyla Oostra of Greenville; niece who was like a daughter, Alisa Bubeck; best friends sister, Debbie Anderson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews; and great great nieces & nephews.
Ineke was a 1976 graduate of Greenville High School. Ineke formerly worked at the Brethren Retirement Community as a switchboard operator and in the gift shop. She was also an entrepreneur, operating Ineke’s Creations in Greenville where she was a well-known seamstress. Ineke was a member of the Greenville Church of the Brethren. She was the treasurer of the Oshawanoodasse Tribe, Good Heart Woman (Good Heart Woman was what she was known as).
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 8, 2023, at Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church 3856 Church St. Greenville with Pastor Bill Davis & Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Union Cemetery in Greenville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville and Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church.
