Clarence William Pitsenbarger

Clarence William Pitsenbarger, 93 of New Weston, Ohio, passed away on Saturday August 21, 2021 at 12:10 AM at Versailles Rehab and Healthcare, Versailles, Ohio. He was born May 2, 1928 in Bradford, Ohio, the son of the late James Elmer Pitsenbarger and Iva (Sowers) Asher. He served his country in World War II in the United States Army.

Clarence is preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Vonnie (Draper) Pitsenbarger; daughter: Susie Guthrie; stepson: Craig Pitsenbarger; grandson: Mark Hill; brother: Gene Pitsenbarger; sisters: Mary Curry, Unis Fritz, Edith Yahne, Norma Trent, and Evelyn Lavy; sister in law: Lucy McMurrey.

Clarence is survived by his children and spouses: Betty Lear of Piqua, Barb and Larry Lambert of Piqua, Sheri and Dan Hill-Stotler of Burlington, Iowa, Chuck and Deb Gorsline of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Rebecca and Rick Lambert of Muscatine, Iowa; Bill Pitsenbarger of New Weston, Ohio; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters: Alice Sanders of Greenville, Shirley Swabb of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
