Cody Lee Burelison

Cody L. Burelison, age 31 of Covington, Ohio passed away suddenly, at 11:56 AM on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Born in Dayton, Ohio on May 25, 1987 he was one of two children to Steve & Joni (Dispennette) Burelison. Cody enjoyed fishing, 4-Wheeling, Shooting, Rodeo’s, and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes play football. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by grandparents Abby & Dale Dispennette: aunts and uncles Judy Peek; Gene Dispennette; John & Jane Dispennette; Jane Bard; Jim & Rosemary Dispennette.

Survived by his parents Steve & Joni Burelison: sister Keesha & Craig Sucher: nephews Peyton and Brody Sucher: his loving dogs “ Dakota” & “Skeeter”: aunts and uncles Joe & Roseanne Dispennette; Glenna Dispennette; Kent Bard; Jerri Dispennette; Jan Cook; Janie Medaris; Mike Cook; Jovette & Brian Myers; Tommy & Jennie Burelison; Rhonda Burelison; Teresa & Jeff Rudy; Brad & Lisa Burelison; Kelli Hilfiker; Scott & Billie Burelison: his work family at the VRA: as well as many more cousins, family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family Thursday November29, 2018 from 4:00- 7:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. There will be a short closing ceremony at 7:00 PM, and the family will be hosting a meal afterwards. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cody’s name to the Tipp City K-9 Unit.
