Danny L. “Dan” Eldridge age 49 of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away at 11:11 P.M. on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville. Dan was born November 16, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Dale E. & Viola B. (Crow) Bailey Sr.
Dan was a taxidermist.
Dan is survived by his daughters, Melissa Weaver of Arcanum and Lakota Eldridge of Greenville; sons, Derek Eldridge of Arcanum and Zach Eldridge of Greenville; step son, Justin Fitzgerald of Greenville; granddaughter, Rachel Baker of Arcanum; brothers, Darrel Eldridge of Muncie, Indiana, Dwayne Bailey of Ansonia and Dale Bailey Jr. of Ansonia; and sisters, Darla Davison of Eaton, Dolly Bailey of Greenville and Debbie Bailey of Brookville, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Steve Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
