Dennis W. Walker age 69 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 7:57 P.M. on Friday, July 11, 2014 at his residence. Dennis was born on July 17, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John & Veronica (Glowiczk) Walker.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Petry) Walker whom he married July 31, 1969; children, Michael Walker of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jennifer Walker of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and David Walker of Phoenix, Arizona; step-brother, John Walker Jr. of Merrillville, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Gray of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Jeanette Petry of Greenville; godmother, Irene Kozlowski of Chicago, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dennis served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He formerly worked at Corning in Greenville and retired in 2010 from Accutech in Coldwater.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Darke County. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
