Mr. Dennis Deo Zeller

Dennis D. Zeller, age 55 of Palestine, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 1:17 PM at his mother’s home in Greenville, Ohio. Born in Greenville on July 29, 1966 he was one of 3 children to Betty L. (Norris) Zeller and the late Donald D. Zeller. Dennis was a graduate of Tri Village High School and MC JVS, class of 1986. He has been a firefighter for Liberty Township Fire Dept. for the past 33 years, a profession that he truly loved. He attended East Zion Church in Greenville and was a member of the FFA. In his free time he enjoyed playing cards and marbles, meeting friends at Sharps Tavern, and shopping with his mom. He was always staying busy. Dennis liked to spend time with his family and his 2 dogs “Marbles” and “Legs”. He will truly be missed. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents Paul & Opal Zeller; I.J. & Kathryn Norris.

Survived by his mother Betty L. Zeller: daughter Ida-Marie Lynn Zeller: siblings Denver Zeller; Donna & Jason Fox: nieces and nephews Denver “Kyle” Zeller; Dakota Zeller; Kathryn Zeller; Jarod Fox; Derek Fox: great-niece Nevaeh Heath: special cousins Rebecca Stump & fiancé Richard Syrell, Jr.; Nicole & Mike Chaney; Marshall Zeller & fiancée Cassandra Spencer: as well as extended family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Funeral services to be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday January 22, 2022 with Pastor Keith Peterson presiding, and an hour visitation prior to service.
