Donna Arnett

Donna Ethel (Peters) Arnett, 78 of Union City, Ohio, passed away on Sunday January 18, 2026, at 4:07 AM at Village Green Health Campus, Greenville, Ohio. Donna was born February 17, 1947, in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth (Foster) Peters.

Donna retired from Copeland Corporation in Sidney after working for 36 years. She was a member of the Greenville Moose Lodge, the Union City American Legion and VFW. Family was the center of her world. She took great pride in her children, grandchildren, and extended family, celebrating their milestones and supporting them through every season of life. She loved to support Veterans and donated often to Journey Home; she loved to do random acts of kindness, whether it be helping people, baking 100 of dozens of cookies, buckeyes, and homemade candy for people especially her Taco Bell family, she enjoyed, cooking, sewing crocheting, dancing, singing karaoke, going to visit her Alabama family and she was known to many as mom.

Donna is preceded in death by her parent; and her husband, James Howard Arnett.

Donna is survived by her children and spouses, Kennth Allen Grewe of Richmond, Indiana, Tammy and Joseph Hoke of Arcanum, Tina and Chris Carroll of Greenville, and Randall Arnett of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and her sister, Dolores Foster of Greenville.

Services will be held on Thursday January 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Ansonia Cemetery, Ansonia, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW or American Legion to help veterans.
