Gary Lee Denney

Gary was born July 24, 1960, in Lima, Ohio, to Ethel R. (McDonald) Marcum of Arizona and the late Martin Edward Denney. In addition to his father, Gary was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Vernon Marcum, and aunts, Barbara Kelly, Phyllis Donaldson, and Teresa Hand.

In addition to his mother, Gary is survived by his children, Westley Denney of Greenville and Blair Bromagem of Greenville; grandchildren, Westley Denney Jr., James Bo Denney, Gabriel Denney, Lucas Denney, Aaron Denney, Hanna Denney, Christopher Rogers, Ben Rogers, and Mia Rogers; sister, Debbie Salazar of Arizona; nephew & niece; Christopher Ortega and Amber Ortega; great uncle, Harold Denney; uncle, Ron McDonald and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
