James Leroy Shuttleworth

James (Jim/Jimmy) Leroy Shuttleworth, age 82, left us for eternal life on February 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 2, 1943, to Mary (Alley) and Lester Shuttleworth. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Powell) whom he married on April 5, 1964. They have four children: Greg Shuttleworth (Christine); Julie & Darryl Monnin; Leah & Pat Lines; and Joe & Heather Shuttleworth; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; his sister, Sue Fourman; his sister-in-law, Linda Shuttleworth; his nieces and nephews and so many wonderful friends! He was preceded in death by his brother, Dick Shuttleworth and his brother-in-law, Richard Fourman.

He graduated from Greenville High School in 1961 where his highlight was serving as President of FFA and leading his peers to receive many awards.

He was in construction for many years, farmed and taught carpentry at Greenville High School.

He had a passion for real estate and began his real estate career with Ken White then opened Blue Spruce Realty in May of 1987 with his wife, Evelyn. They served the residents of Greenville and surrounding counties for 39 years with honesty and integrity. Thank you all for each special transaction!

He was a brilliant man, and his expansive knowledge will be missed by everyone who knew him.

There will be no public services. Thank you all for your love and friendship.
