Josephine Wilson

Josephine “Jo” C. Wilson, age 82 of Palestine, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 9:36 PM at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Born in Bethel, Indiana on June 18, 1939 she was the only daughter to the late Jim & Gretchen (Holmes) Baker. Jo attended the Church of Christ in Palestine, Ohio. She enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Billy Wilson in 2018: great-great-grandson Evander Ray Atchley: 2 half-brothers Elmer Moore; Dwight Moore.

Survived by her children Juanita & Mike Dowler; Rusty & Teresa Wilson; Beatrice Hammaker: grandchildren Niccole & Chris Konecny; Crystal & Dan Dowler; Michael & Cynthia Dowler; D.J. & Schevon Wilson; Danielle Wilson; Nick Hammaker; Joseph & Maggie Hammaker; Megan Hammaker; Thomas & Kandace Hammaker; Erica Hammaker; Justin Hammaker: 24 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on the family from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Church of Christ, Palestine, Ohio. Funeral service to be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the church with Rev. Mike Simmons presiding. Burial to follow at Palestine Cemetery.
