Karen K (Robison) Gessler

Karen was born February 17, 1960, in Greenville to the late Donald E. “Donnie” & Wilma (Pearson) Robison. Karen was also preceded in death by her husband, Alan Lee Gessler on December 22, 2023, whom she married June 21, 1980, and a son, Heath Gessler.

Karen is survived by her children, Mike & Amy Gessler of Ansonia and Seth & Brittany Gessler of Union City, Ohio; grandchildren, Autumn Gessler, Georgia Gessler, and Cole Gessler; and bothers & sister-in-law, Terry Robison of Union City, Ohio, Larry & Connie Robison of Union City, Ohio, and Scott Robison of Laura; and sister-in-law, Twila Althouse of Greenville.

Karen retired from Whirlpool in Greenville. Karen was a member of Stevideo Christian Church. She was a past 4-H Advisor of the Cloverettes.

A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Tracy Brown officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stelvideo Christian Church.
