Katherine J Burke

Katherine was born January 5, 1972, in Greenville. She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Edwin Hayes Jr.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Jeromy Burke whom she married July 7, 2007; son, Lukhas Burke; mother & step father, Sandra Lee (Joseph) & John Gulde; mother-in-love, Hannah Dynes of Ansonia; siblings, Brittany Dynes of Ansonia, Jennifer (Hayes) & Chris Muenzer of Virginia, Jeffrey & Dana Dynes of New Madison, Edward Hayes of Virginia, Tim & Shannon Hayes of Greenville, Joe & Rachel Hayes of Colorado, Anita Best of Ansonia, Leanne Gulde of Arizona, Jonathan Hayes of Ohio, Arielle Nunez of Ohio, Ashton Hayes of Ohio, Chad Presley of Texas, Nathan Presley of Texas and Steven Hayes of Texas; grandmother in love, penny Weaver of Brookville; nieces & nephew, Addie Dynes, Millie Dynes, Alayna Dynes, Karson Dynes and several other nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Katherine worked at the Maid-Rite Sandwich Shoppe in Greenville for 30 years. She was a member of the Ansonia United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, camping and spending time with her family.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Fred Joseph and Pastor Roger Emerson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
