Larry E. Baker, 74 of Covington, Ohio, passed away on Saturday January 8, 2022 at 2:29 AM at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born October 6, 1947 in Winchester, Indiana. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He worked as a Police Officer and EMT in Covington, Ohio and retired as a truck driver for A.O. Smith. He was a member of the Arcanum Masonic Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Baker of Covington; his step sons: Jeffrey and Karena Fleming, Derrick Fleming; step daughter: Shanna and Kent Moore; grandchildren: Devin Rose, Jeffrey Fleming Jr., Lonnie Fleming; great grandchildren: Rhyker Rose, Blaise Rose, Devin Rose Jr., Kydel Rose, and Zalen Rose.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Palestine Cemetery with Pastor Bob Bitner officiating. Veteran’s graveside services will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
