Margaret Schoeff

Margaret Anne Schoeff, 81 of Wayne Lakes, passed away on Thursday March 17, 2022 at her residence. She was born October 7, 1940 in Monroe, Indiana, the daughter of the late Joseph Hartnett and Esther Hartnett Friar.

Margaret worked for Corning Glass retiring after 33 years.

She loved cooking, gardening, and crocheting; she especially loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Schoeff; and her sisters, Rita Byer, and Julie Kaye Hartman.

Margaret is survived by her children, Cynthia and Jeffrey Flake of Oregon, Matthew and Tonda Schoeff of Versailles; her grandchildren, Joshua Schoeff and Finance Madalyn Young of Fairborn, Kayla (Schoeff) and Matthew McCubbin of Arcanum, and Ryan and Jacob Schoeff of Versailles; her great grandchildren, Lailee and Noah McCubbin; and her brother in law, Leon Byer.

Services will be held on Thursday March 24, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Brock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at the funeral home.
