

Marjorie Joan Witters, age 87 of New Weston, Ohio passed away at 10:44 AM Saturday January 6, 2024 at the Lima Memorial Hospital. Marjorie was born September 20, 1936 in Brookville, Ohio and the daughter of the late Irvin and Mary (Brower) Deeter.
She was a graduate of West Alexandria High School and had been employed at Sheller-Globe. She enjoyed cooking, playing Yahtzee and Dominoes and was an avid card player. Most importantly in her life was her love of family, her grandkids and great grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons Robert Witters and Randall Witters; her brothers Robert Deeter and Paul Deeter and her sister Zelma Baker.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 66 years Freddie D. Witters of New Weston. They were married April 20, 1957. Also survived by a son Rodney Witters of New Weston; grandchildren Amy (Rich) Hadden of Greenville, Stacey Reynolds of Covington, Emily (Richard) Dzamefe of Vandenberg Air Force Base, California and Ben (Chelsea) Witters of Centerville; 12 great grandchildren Christopher, Justin, Alex, Alyssa and Makayla Hadden, Ayden, Landon and Trent Reynolds, Ryan and Ada Dzamefe, Jacob and Olivia Witters; brothers Dan (Joyce) Deeter of West Alexandria and Tom Deeter of Eaton as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday January 12, 2024 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Scott Trittschuh officiating. Burial will following the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday January 11, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to Tunnel to Towers Foundation 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, New York, 10306.
