Ricky Eugene Coby

Ricky Eugene Coby, 74 passed away Tuesday May 26,2026, at 3:46 a.m.at the Ohio Hospice of Miami County, Ohio, where he suffered a long battle. Born in Greenville, Ohio on March 30,1952, he was one of three children of Everett J. Coby and Ruby A. (Riffle) Coby.

Rick graduated at Greenville High School where he wrestled, He loved Mechanics. He worked at Byrams Garage during his early years .He went onto running his own business out of his garage in Savona, Ohio then onto a garage and gas station in New Madison, Ohio. He later retired from ABF trucking. He was good at carpentry and loved his Harley motorcycles he loved riding. He always looked and dressed the part. He along with his father and older brother took a bike trip to Sturgis, SD.

Rick loved his family, his wife, Grandkids, and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife Ingrid (Bryant) Coby. He is survived in life by his mother Ruby (Riffle) Coby: his Brother Terry L. Coby and special friend Elaine of Portland, Indiana, his sister Karla D. Walters and Joe of Winchester Indiana; his children, Amy and Brad Bronnenberg of Daleville, Indiana Shane Coby New Madison Ohio Blain and Tanya Coby of Greenville, Ohio and Alisa Henninger and

Nathaniel Davis of Vandalia; his 5 grandkids Randi and Brandon Ballou, Mason and Sydney Coby, Madison Henninger, Ava Coby, and Jayla Coby; and two great grandkids Jackson and Austyn Ballou.

Friends may call on family 9:30 to 11:30 June 1, 2026, at Zechar Bailey funeral home in Greenville. A service will begin at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial to follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. Donations to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.
