Robert Kim McKnight

Ansonia: R. Kim McKnight, age 64 of Ansonia, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital. Kim was born October 6, 1957 in Union City, Indiana to Myrtle (Lindemuth) McKnight and the late Bob McKnight. Kim was preceded in death by his brother, Gail McKnight. Kim is survived by his sister Pamela Hierholzer, brother-in-law Mark Hierholzer, sister-in-law Nancy McKnight. Nieces and nephews Jeremy (Lora) McKnight of Pittsburg, PA, Ashley (Ryan) Rose of North Port, FL., Adalynne Hierholzer of Moscow, ID., Kaela (Luke) Laxton of Salisbury, NC, Molly (Mike) Jutte of Coldwater, OH., and Creighton Hierholzer of Winter Springs, FL. Great nieces and nephews: Runa McKnight, Ava Rose, Solomon Hierholzer, Thaddeus Hierholzer, Martha Jutte and Sara Jutte.

Kim graduated with degrees from Edison and The University of Dayton. He worked in the field of electronics and enjoyed working and traveling abroad. He loved nature and spending time in his woods. There will be a gathering of immediate family to celebrate Kim’s life at a later date. Burial will be at Greenville Township Memorial Garden.
