Roberta Jo Westfall

Roberta was born October 28, 1939, in Greenville to the late Alfred Ottwell & Dorothy Violet (Shepherd) Riegle. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl L. Baldridge; brother, Jack Riegle; sister, Darla J. Robbins; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilbur & Dorothy Westfall; and brother-in-law, Tom Westfall.

Roberta is survived by her husband of 66 years, John W. Westfall whom she married September 7, 1958; daughters & son-in-law, Penny Jo & Scott Greenhalgh of Florida and Jacquelyn Kay Westfall of Columbus; grandchildren, Ryan, Jenna, Lauren, Ashley, Ian, and Ellen; great grandchildren, Sammy, Robbie, Maris, and Jinny; in-laws, Becky & Denny Weinert of Dayton, Ginger & Greg Spratt of West Alexandria, Mike & Pam Westfall of West Union, and Rick Robbins of Rossburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roberta retired from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office with 13 years of service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenville. Roberta enjoyed crafting, quilting, sewing, and bowling.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 23, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Jeff Law officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
