Tammy Marie Persinger

Tammy Marie Persinger, age 60 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on February 20, 2024 at 6:24 pm at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Born in Darke County, Ohio on September 9, 1963 she was a daughter to the late Glenn & Dorthea (Buckingham) Shappie. Tammy was a wonderful stay at home mom, and enjoyed doing any and everything with her grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone, no matter how bad she felt. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joseph and Scott Shappie.

Survived by her husband, Lenvil Persinger: children Josh & Dawn Freeman; Jessica & Jeffrey Keiser; Jeffrey & Christian Persinger; Danny & Jennifer Persinger; Kristy Long: numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren: siblings Doug & Barb Shappie; Dennis & Susan Shappie; Tony & Cindy Shappie.

Friends may call on the family from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church-233 W 3rd St, Greenville, Ohio 45331- with Fr. Matt Feist presiding.
