

Audrey "Lynn" Sharp, age 83, went home to be with the Lord dying peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side on Tuesday February 10, 2021. Lynn was born in Germantown, PA on July 13, 1937 to the late Elmer and Grovinia Brill. She attended Cedar Crest College, graduating Magna Cum Laud with a degree in Education. Lynn was a member of the College Choir and was an accomplished pianist and violin player. Following college, she married her college sweetheart, Robert Sharp Jr, on Oct 10, 1959. She worked as an Elementary school teacher before starting a family raising 3 children as a stay-at-home mother. She was an amazingly beautiful woman.
Lynn was a loyal member of First Presbyterian Church in Greenville, and was a member of the Garden Club, a Board Member for Concerned Citizens for Animals, and volunteered with food delivery for Meals on Wheels.
Lynn had a unique love for her family, friends as well as our four-legged friends. She rescued many dogs and cats throughout her lifetime and took in stray animals at each opportunity. She was an amazing person
to know!
Lynn is survived by her 3 children: Carol Hall, Robert Sharp and David Sharp, and 6 grandchildren: Austin Sharp, Travis Sharp, Catherine Hall, Melanie Hall, Samuel Sharp and Andrew Sharp. Lynn was preceded in
death by her husband Robert whom she was married to for 60 years.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13 from 10:00 - 11:30 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607, with the funeral service following at 11:30 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 at Graceland East Memorial Park.
