

Bobbie Jean Griffin a resident of Taylors, S.C., wife of Frank Grant Griffin joined her Lord Jesus in His Heavenly Kingdom on December 4, 2010. Born in Pickens, S.C., March 2, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Sunie Master and Bunk Hendricks.
Besides her husband of 54 plus years, she is survived by two daughters, Angela C. (Richard) Armstrong of Lancaster, S.C. and Tina R. (Kevin) Brady of Alexandria, VA. Surviving are 4 grand children, Lindsey, Rich, Will and Jonathan Armstrong and 4 sisters, Geneva Clark, Audrey Stokes, Evelyn Hendricks of Greenville, S.C.; and Jennie (Rex) Easterly of Pickens, S.C. and predeceased by 3 sisters: Jeanette Reece, Thelma Yeager of Greenville, S.C.; Almedia Simpkins of Fort Walton Beach, FL; and a brother Glenn Hendricks of Pickens, S.C.
Bobbie graduated from Pickens High School and attended Draghns Business College, worked in Medical Records at Greenville General Hospital, worked a year at Kentucky Baptist Hospital in Louisville, KY and retired after 29 ½ years of Baptist Medical Center of Easley, S.C. as Director of Medical Records.
Bobbie loved the Lord, adored her family and enjoyed her church family, Taylors First Baptist, where she and Frank have been members for almost 40 years. She particularly loved her “Faith” Sunday School Class, Sandra Brown’s Tuesday Morning Bible Study and all the church fellowship, preaching and music.
Bobbie enjoyed camping with family and friends, square dancing, decorating at Christmas and many crafts.
A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be at Taylors First Baptist, conducted by Associate Pastor Jimmie Harley. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 7, 2010 in the Gathering Space and the Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, cards and visits. A special Thank-you to the staff and caregivers at The Haven In the Village of Chanticleer. Also, Interim Heath Care Hospice for their care and concerns.
