He was a member of Lee Road Baptist Church in Taylors. Flower Child was retired from Milliken & Bi Lo trucking companies after having proudly served in the US Army.
He is survived by 2 daughters; Lonni (Michael) Brown of Greer and Jill (Ricky) Bowers of Taylors. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren; Jason Burden of Taylors, Cory Bowers, Melissa & Johnny Brown all of Greer as well as 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 – 8 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, June 10th at Lee Road Baptist Church, 1503 E. Lee Road, Taylors. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
