Charles Richmond "Rick" Buchanan

He graduated from Clemson with high honors in 1977, earning a Bachelors of Science, and was a life-long avid Clemson fan. He married his sweetheart Tammie V. Buchanan in 1993, and his pride and joy was his daughter Amanda, who he shared a love of softball with for many years. He worked at Southern Weaving as a Production Schedulist for over 30 years.

In addition to his wife Tammie, Rick is survived by his daughter, Amanda Buchanan (Amanda) of Greenville, SC; his sister Sherry Morgan (Randall) of Pickens, SC; his niece Melodie Huffine (Bobby) of Travelers Rest, SC; his special friend and cousin Alan Loudermilk of Pumpkintown; his best friend Ted Mann of Easley, SC; his brothers-in-law Frank Vaughn (Diane) of Greenville, SC and Darrell Vaughn (Linda) of Greenville, SC; and his great-nephew and fishing buddy Connor Vaughn of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held at the Chapel of the Mackey Mortuary at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 3rd with a burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family is at their respective homes.
