Clarence Pete Berry Martin, Jr.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a proud World War II veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Pacific Theatre, a Clemson University graduate and an ardent Tiger fan. He was the son of the late Clarence Berry Martin, Sr. and Sadie Stowe Martin.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Virginia B. Martin and daughter-in-law, Derinda (Rindy) Martin, his brothers James C. Martin and Charles Martin.

He is survived by his daughters Helen Heinz and her husband, Jim, Theresa Huffman and her husband, Coy, his son , Clarence Berry Martin, III, his granddaughters Virginia Lynn Huffman, Chesley Huffman Galbraith and her husband Kyle, Elizabeth Heinz Swails and her husband, Marshall, Helen Rachel Heinz, grandson Tyler Martin Heinz and great granddaughter Hailey Theresa Sawyer.

He is also survived by his brother Ed Martin, his sister, Sarah Hubbard and her husband, Bill, sister-in-law Edith B. Redmond and her husband Jim and his favorite dog " Rocky.”

Funeral services will be held at the Remembrance Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park on April 25, 2016 at 11 AM.
