Coy Wallace Carson

Born in Asheville, NC, Coy was the son of the late Earl Lester Carson, Sr. and Ora Lee Buckner Carson.

He was a member of First Baptist Greenville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Barbara Bess Carson; sisters: Helen Carson, Virginia Carson Holcombe, Margaret Carson Decker; brother, Earl Lester Carson, Jr. and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Brian Carson.

He is survived by daughter, Cynthia Leigh Carson; son, David Brian Carson; and five grandchildren, David Wallace Brown and Mary Carson Brown, Charlotte Bess Carson Cox (William), Cynthia Clair Carson, and Salley Elizabeth Carson.

It is with joy that both Barbara and Coy will be inurned together at First Baptist Greenville Remembrance Garden Columbarium prior to receiving friends. A service of celebration will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 25, 2018 at First Baptist Greenville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Missions at First Baptist Greenville, or the charity of one's choice.
