Edgar "Tim" Tillman Barnett

Tim followed his father and grandfather into the family business, Barnett’s Garage, on McBee Avenue, and he retired in 2005. Tim served his country in the Air National Guard, and he was also a proud Shriner.

Tim is survived by his wife, Brenda Barnett; his daughter, Lisa Jumper; and his grandsons, Thomas and Adam Jumper. In addition to his parents, Tim is predeceased by his son-in-law, Kelvin Jumper.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Mackey Funerals & Cremations at Century Drive on Friday, March 30th at 11:00am. The family will receive friends before the service from 9:45-10:45am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tim’s honor to St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 701 Cleveland Street, Greenville, SC 29601 or the charity of your choice.
